It wasn’t easy to find a good picture of those blue eyes. This one has two pairs of blue eyes, and lots of love.
Susie left us two years ago today. Still have a hard time believing it.
I just heard this song for the first time a few nights ago, sung by Rosanne Cash, Lucinda Williams, and Emmylou Harris. It was lovely, but I think this one hits the hardest.
I know what you mean. My BFF died of breast cancer 2 years ago October. I still want to call her, talk to her, hear her voice. Thinking of you and your loss today.
Teresa
My sympathies to you. Thanks for your comment, Teresa.
I so hear you, Risa. I hate that we share the loss of beloved sisters. I listened to “Cook with Honey” by Judy Collins the other day and just lost it. My sister and I had played that album together a million times. Your sister was beautiful! P.S. I saw Roseanne Cash in concert several years ago and she was just fabulous. Her music pretty much destroys me!
Oh, Lee…the music can trigger so many memories. I’m taking the same class my sister took (stretching first, then tap) and one of the songs we heard was a Bette Midler and Linda Ronstadt duet called “Sisters.” Talk about being destroyed…
I lost my sister almost 3 years ago…she was my only sibling…Hugs Risa!
So sorry for your loss, Renee. Hugs back to you.
Heard “Fire and rain” a couple of days ago. Luckily, I was driving or I would have completely lost it.
Susie came to mind…
Love you, Cuz. ❤️
Love you too, Cuz. Always.
I’m so sorry for your loss, Risa. Wishing you peace.
Thank you so much, Roxanne.
